New Patient Portal Coming Soon

We are excited to announce we are in the process of getting a better, more user friendly patient portal. Unfortunately, this means that we will not have a patient portal for a few weeks. During this transition, please contact the office for any appointment requests, refill requests or any other questions related to your child's medical needs. We appreciate your patience during this transition.

Dr. Peter Jarosak has Retired

We would like to share with you that our much loved Dr. Jarosak retired from his good works as a pediatrician in September, 2013.  Not only has he served this practice and the Greensboro community since 1975, he has acted as the President of Carolina Pediatrics for many years.  His contributions to children’s healthcare have been many and his philanthropic spirit led him to his work as the Medical Director for the Children’s Home Society of North Carolina.  While we will miss him around the office, we all wish him the very best in his adventures to come.

As always, his jovial spirit shines through when summarizing his life’s work,

“For 38 years, it’s been fun.”

Interested in sending Dr. Jarosak well wishes?  Feel free to drop off any notes or photos at the office or email them to

FLU SEASON IS HERE!Flu Season is Here!

It is not too late to have your child vaccinated for the flu! There are active, confirmed cases of influenza in Guilford county (and we have seen quite a few in our practice) so please understand that there will be longer wait times on the phone and longer wait times in the office when seeing a physician due to increased patient volume. We apologize for the inconvenience and greatly appreciate your understanding during this critical time.

Carolina Pediatrics of the Triad, P.A. no show appointment policy is as follows:

Appointments need to be cancelled within 1 hour of the actual appointment time or it will be considered a no show appointment.
If you are more than 15 minutes late for an appointment and the physician feels that he/she cannot get you worked back in, they have the option of considering the appointment a no show.
With the first no show you will be sent a letter advising you of our no show policy and will be charged a $10 fee for missing a sick visit and $20 if you missed a Well Check.

With the second no show you will be sent a letter advising you that this was your second no show and that you have been charged $25.00 for that visit if it was for a sick visit and $50 if you missed your Well Check.

With the third no show our physicians have the option of releasing the family from the practice. You will also be charged a $25 fee if you missed a sick visit or a $50 fee if you missed a Well Check.

***Each appointment made is one appointment slot, so if you have more than one child scheduled for the same day and you do not keep your appointments then each appointment slot is considered a no show appointment.***
